Asesmbles pattern chains that control pattern-forming motion
of guide bars (flat metal bars on which yarn guides are
attached) on knitting machines: Selects pattern-chain links
according to pattern diagram. Marks links according to sequence
in chain, usnig bevel square and scriber. Holds link against
electirc grinder to bevel end down to marking so link will
adjust guide bars smoothly.
Inserts connecting pins through
holes in lniks to assemble links that form pattern chain.
